Era Tumblers are 100% leakproof with cold beverages and iced carbonated beverages when in the locked position. A 50% ice to liquid ratio is recommended when using carbonated beverages.


Not recommended to be used in the locked position with hot beverages. Using hot beverages with a straw poses a scalding risk.

I was skeptical about a leakproof lid for carbonated drinks, but the Ü-Turn lid holds pressure perfectly without any fizz escaping. The 30oz size is ideal for my long commutes, and the Lemon Lime color is even brighter in person.

The Ü-Turn lid really is leakproof; I tossed it in my bag with a fizzy drink and not a drop escaped. The Lemon Lime color is a nice change from my usual neutrals. Only wish it kept things cold a bit longer for the price.
