The SlideSeal lid really works — I've tossed it in my bag with soda and not a single drop leaked. The soft silicone straw is a nice touch too.
I was a bit skeptical about a flip-down straw being truly leakproof, but the SlideSeal lid holds up perfectly — I tossed it in my work bag with a sparkling water and not a drop escaped. The SoftSip straw is noticeably softer than standard ones, making it much more comfortable to drink from.
The SlideSeal lid actually works great for my seltzer—no fizz explosions when I toss it in my bag, and the silicone straw is much comfier than the hard plastic ones I've had before.
The lid does stay sealed when it’s closed, which is a relief, but the straw mechanism feels a bit stiff to flip down smoothly. It keeps my iced soda cold for a few hours, though the insulation doesn’t last as long as my old tumbler. Decent for the price, just not the game-changer I was expecting.
